Report Reference No: DIOS/DE-EVAL/2022/1
With funding from the EU Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian crisis (MADAD), UNRWA has provided basic services in education, health, cash assistance and protection to Palestine Refugees from Syria in Lebanon and Jordan. The third phase started in January 2020 until June 2022 and, in line with the donor agreement, the Lebanon Field Office managed a mid-term evaluation of the project that was carried out by an external consultancy company, IOD Parc. Serving a dual purpose of accountability and learning, and guided by standard evaluation criteria, the research focused on activities implemented in the third phase of the project from January 2020 until June 2021. The evaluation research approach was adapted to respond to several socio-economic crises in Lebanon and the COVID-19 pandemic and applied innovative methods to collect beneficiary feedback.
